Oregon Coast Engagement Session

Couples

Whether it’s your engagement, anniversary, or couples photos just for fun, I LOVE when couples reach out to me as their Oregon Coast engagement photographer. There are so many options for locations, but I do have a soft spot for the areas near Cannon Beach. Although it’s one of the more crowded beaches, there are ways around it. That might be choosing a location that’s not directly in front of Haystack Rock or scheduling for a day of the week that is less popular for tourists. Or, if push comes to shove, a little Photoshop 😉.

I recommend Oregon Coast engagement photos to both Oregon locals and couples traveling in. The rock formations are iconic representations of the beauty we have. My personal favorite is the tall grass because it gives such a soft, dreamy feel to the photos. For this session in specific, it was Cody and Lindsay’s 2 year wedding anniversary. They wanted to take some family photos on the coast with their two dogs to commemorate this time in their lives. I’m a huge fan of anniversary photos and you can even make them more formal by taking them in your wedding dress again. When it comes to what to wear for your engagement photos, I always recommend whatever you are comfortable in and feel good in. I think it’s always a great idea to bring an outfit change to have multiple options and give some more variety in your final gallery, which Lindsay decided to do here.

I love capturing carefree, yet classic and romantic photos of couples in love. If you’re ready to book a couples session of any kind on the Oregon Coast, I would be honored to show you around! You can reach out here and I will respond as soon as I can.
