This luxury Youngberg Hill wedding was one of my favorites of the season! Gracie and Blake’s wedding was very classic, with the bridesmaids and groomsmen in all black, with black and white decor throughout the reception. The weather and the view could not have been more perfect for their September wedding. As an Oregon wedding photographer, this has been one of my favorite places to photograph.
To start the day, Gracie and her girls got ready in the Martini Suite of Youngberg Hill’s Inn. I love that this is offered at Youngberg Hill and that you have the option to stay there the night before and/or night of your wedding so you and your closest guests don’t need to worry about transportation. There are 9 rooms in the inn that can fit your wedding party and close family. Off of the bridal suite, the balcony overlooks the valley. This venue is located on top of a hill, so there are stunning views all around. Although the bridesmaids had already seen Gracie’s dress, they had a first look as the whole look came together and their reactions were so sweet.
I also began the day by photographing the bride’s details, which matched the black and white wedding aesthetic.
These two opted to have a first look before the ceremony so they could enjoy a private moment together before all of the festivities continued. It was a bright, sunny day, so we found one of the only shady spots on the porch to have this moment before heading into some wedding party and family photos.
The bride and groom portraits were incredible all day long. We started with one round of photos early in the day while Gracie’s hair and makeup were still fresh, and even though there was direct sun at the top of the hill we were on, it was positioned perfectly to still show off the valley below. Later in the evening, we snuck away from dinner to take some photos in the vineyard. It was the end of September and we started to get a peek of the fall colors in the leaves. We finished the formal photos for the day back at the top of the hill, with the sun setting behind the trees. I’m still so obsessed with every moment!!!
The rest of the day was filled with love from all of their guests. The ceremony had tears and laughs, and the evening was spent enjoying everyone’s company and dancing the night away at Youngberg Hill before heading to their after-party. The Youngberg Hill wedding venue is one of my all-time favorites! If you’re getting married here, I would love to work together! Please inquire through my contact form.
Youngberg Hill Inn & Winery Vendors
The vendor team for the Chisholm’s wedding was incredible! I want to add some special shout outs to the DJ, Zacch, and the florist, Payton. This group was ready to party, and Zacch played some of the best music I’ve ever heard at a wedding and kept people going the entire time. The dance floor was always full until it was time for everyone to get on the bus to their after-party. Peyton created the most amazing floral pieces. Gracie went for a luxury look with her simple white bouquet. The ceremony pieces included monstera plants that Gracie and her mom spent months cultivating and Peyton integrated them into her flowers beautifully.
